Main street of Govan with the Silver Plate Hotel, 1909

A raised view down a wide dirt main street lined with wooden false-front businesses, with the three-storey Silver Plate Hotel on the left and many horse-drawn wagons and buggies parked along both sides. Small groups of people stand near the hotel entrance and along the boardwalks, and open prairie is visible at the far end of the street.
